Sins of a Solar Empire Tip: Several files Hacks:
Head to installation file of your game (which will be something like
"Stardock Games / Sins of a Solar Empire /"). In this folder, find
tro of the folder called "Galaxy" which you should click.
Top Blogs

Inside the folder "Galaxy", you can see all kinds of game systems,
tutorials and more. Click on any file in the "Galaxy" and the
open it with Notepad.
You should see the following string at the top of the text file:
homeplanetupgradelevel: population
homeplanetupgradelevel: civilianmodules
homeplanetupgradelevel: tacticalmodules
homeplanetupgradelevel: Home
homeplanetupgradelevel: artifactlevel
homeplanetupgradelevel: infrastructure
These strings mean different things, and represent upgrade options that
can increase tactical capacity, population, and more. This is what
refer specifically to:
infrastructure of the civilian population =
civilian modules = logistics capacity
tactical modules = tactical capacity
= Level of scanning devices (and at the Max when starting a game)
Infrastructure = emergency facilities
= Capital planet of origin
(default when starting a game, you can not change)
Personally, I used the following settings in the above order: 4,2,2,1,2,3.
I'm pretty sure that these values are the same for each faction, but I
have not yet tried these numbers for each scenario size or each map. Therefore,
you may be limited to the actual maximum value depending on the galaxy map
choose.
If you head back to the same text file and scroll to the bottom, you
find a section beginning with "[#]". playercount You must find the right thing
after the section describing the phase line connections. The section beginning
with "player 0" represents.
The three strings "startingcredits", "startingmetal" and "startingcrystal"
are values of the starting material each can be changed to a maximum of
of 9999. Change those values at your leisure.
Theft Resources:
If you are interested (in single player mode) in the theft of resources
other empires, try the following:
1.) Starting a new game and play as usual, giving the other empires
time to build your resources.
2. When ready to steal resources (as it is running low
resources yourself), save the game, quit and reload another
rule to play.
3.) Once you have loaded your alternate empire, go to the diplomacy.
Send the resources from this empire to your "normal," the rule by default.
4.) Save the game, quit and reload your original empire. Resources
sent from the alternative rule should now be there - that can be repeated
this as much as you want.
